Mrs. Zustiak graduated with a BA from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999, double majoring in speech communication and theatre performance.  She graduated from Southeast again in 2002 with a BS in Speech Education. In 2009, she earned her MS Ed. from Southwest Baptist University. She taught at Seckman High School from 2002-2022, before moving to Clayton High School in the fall of 2022. She lives in Festus with her husband, kids and dogs.

Mr. Holmes holds an undergraduate degree from Truman State University (mass communication/education) and two masters degrees from the University of Missouri (educational psychology and gifted education). He has taught journalism, government, psychology, American literature, and creative writing. Every June, he teaches writing at Missouri Scholars Academy. Mr. Holmes and his wife have three children, one grandson, two dogs, two snakes, and a crested gecko.
