Welcome to the CHS team website! Read below to learn more about out program and what cheering at Clayton High School is all about!

The Clayton High School cheerleading program is open to any and all individuals attending Clayton High School. The Varsity squad is composed of individuals from9 - 12th grade.

Our program's mission is to:

• Promote and uphold school spirt within the CHS building and surrounding community.

• Develop a sense of good sportsmanship among teammates, CHS students and opponents.

• Build strong, positive character traits in out team's individuals.

• Encourage crowd involvement at all football, basketball games and school events.

• Represent the school in a positive manner at all times both in and out of uniform in the school, surrounding community and online.

• We host a clinic for younger district students

Expectations

• Academic: 3.0 credits in the previous semester and pass 6 out of 7 classes

• Athletic: Student athletes must learn to balance requirements of training and performing as well as school and personal health

• Character: exemplary behavior in and out of uniform and on social media as a representative of Clayton High School and CHS Cheerleading
