Welcome Parents and Scholars!

Hello parents and students. My name is Ms. McIntosh, and I am the K-2 Reading Specialist at Harper Elementary. This is my 18th year in education. I began my teaching career in Columbus, Georgia before moving to Atlanta in 2007 when I began teaching at Harper Elementary. I have taught Kindergarten, second grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and I have also served as K-5 EIP Reading and Math teacher. I have my Specialist degree in Early Childhood Education, Gifted Endorsement, Math Endorsement, Coaching Endorsement, Mentor, and pursuing the Gifted and Reading Endorsements. I am a military veteran of the United States Army, a wife, and a mother of six. A quote that I live by is "When you teach what you love, and share what you know, you open eyes, minds, hearts, and souls to unexplored worlds".
