7 Pillars Career Academy

District Charter Update:

As you may be aware, the Clayton County Schools Board of Education, which is charged by the state to authorize and provide oversight to the district’s charter schools, voted to not renew the charter of 7 Pillars at its October 30, 2023 meeting. Clayton County Public Schools determined that the school was unable to meet its financial goals and has decided that the last day of operation will be June 30, 2024.

State Charter Update:

Please click here for additional information regarding the State Charter denial.

Without the local approval of the Clayton County Board of Education and without the approval of the State Charter Schools Commission (SCSC), 7 Pillars will close permanently on June 30, 2024, and will not conduct school operations after that date. Thus, you must decide on another school option for your child for the 2024-2025 school as 7 Pillars will be closed. We expect 7 Pillars students to engage fully in their school’s academic program through the last day of school.
