Personally: I am from Tallahassee, FL. My family is the most important thing in this world to me, besides my relationship with Christ. I am the mother of 3 sons, the godmother of 11. I am the youngest of six children. I play the drums and I aspire to play the bass and lead guitars.

Professionally: I came to Harper as a Title 1 Math Teacher. I have transitioned to teaching 3rd grade, 5th grade, and an EIP Lead position. This year I am teaching 4th grade..

In 2007 I took my 5^th grade class to NASA in Florida to extend our exploration and learning about space and technology. We cannot make that physical trip this year, but we will explore space and technology virtually through our online use of technology. The U.S. has just started flights into space again. Let’s learn more about what NASA is doing this year.

In 2008 I took my class of 5^th graders to Washington, D.C. so they could build on their learning of U.S. history. This will also be done this year through our virtual learning platform as we teach across content.
