I am looking forward to another successful school year with the students and families at the "illustrious" Michelle Obama STEM Elementary Academy, where we are cultivating creative minds, one scholar at a time!
I have been a school counselor for over 18 years. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in child development. I also obtained my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Georgia Southern University, in Statesboro, Georgia . So I am a True Blue Georgia Southern Eagle! I completed my educational specialist from Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida.

My name is Dr. Kysha Garrett, and I am honored to serve as one of our enthusiastic school counselors. With 29 years of experience as both a teacher and a school counselor, I bring a heart for children and a passion for helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
