Welcome to another exciting school year. My name is Marquavius Hardy, and I am the Professional School Counselor for Kilpatrick Elementary School. 

I have 12 years as an educator with five years as a classroom teacher, one year as a Technology Specialist, and four years as a Professional School Counselor. Previously, I taught Math and Science as one of the 5th grade teachers at Kilpatrick Elementary School, and I am excited to return to KES in my new role, among outstanding educators and students of Clayton County.

I have served at the middle and high school levels as a professional school counselor. This experience has afforded me the opportunity to provide students with learning about post-secondary opportunities, social/emotional awareness, and academic advisement. I am excited to bring great ideas to our elementary students, helping to shape and mold their minds for the future.

I am committed to providing student, academic, career, and social/emotional support. The goals this year for the KES Counseling Program are centered around developing lifelong relationships and connectedness with all of our stakeholders. My passion for building relationships is what drives me. Providing a safe, nurturing and positive relationship for the students of Kilpatrick Elementary School is what I strive for.
