CCPS students are encouraged to work towards becoming global citizens. They learn intercultural competency by spending time learning about other cultures and traditions.
This trivia bowl covers the languages that are taught in CCPS (Arabic, Chinese, French, Latin, and Spanish), as well as other languages and traditions (American Sign Language or ASL, Germany, and Native American customs, history and traditions). Through learning about the culture and history of the people who speak these languages, students are able to demonstrate a respect, curiosity and appreciation for the languages and culture of people across the world. This competition will allow students to receive recognition for learning more about the world around them.
The competition will occur in person on November 9th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Winning schools will receive a banner, and winning team members (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) will receive medals.
