Dear Babb Students and Parents,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Babb Middle School. My name is Mrs. Larri Rose, and I am pleased to share with you that I am the school counselor for students in grades 6-8 whose last names begin with the letters A-L. Whether you are new to Babb or previously on my caseload, I am excited to work with you!
I am a wife and a mother to three. I am an Atlanta native and graduated from B.E. Mays High School. I attended the University of Georgia and received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Georgia State University. I earned my Masters of Science degree in School Counseling from Mercer University in 2011 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor in 2015. I have been a professional school counselor for 13 years.
My greatest passion is serving God & others, spending time with my family and traveling the world. I really like Thai food and Yoga!
You can expect my full support as we navigate the school year together. Please be sure to take advantage of all the activities, clubs, guidance lessons, and other aspects of Babb to make this school year a productive experience. My annual goal is to design and deliver a school counseling program that improves student outcomes that are aligned with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model. Please feel free to contact me; I can be reached by using the contact information above.
I look forward to sharing the journey with you!

Greetings Babb Middle School Family!
My name is Ms. Hope Adams and I am so excited to join the Babb Middle School family as one of the two school counselors this year! While I am new to Clayton County Public Schools. I’ve worked in various educational capacities for over 19 years and during this time, my primary desire has always been to be an advocate for each and every student that I am fortunate enough to work with.
As a school counselor, I am not only passionate about providing academic, emotional, and social support for students in and outside of school but also passionate about building relationships with stakeholders, parents, teachers, faculty, and staff as our primary priority must be the future of our children.
On a personal note, I am mother of very grown-up twins (boy/girl) and most recently became a mother-in-law! My educational background includes my Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science from the unsinkable Albany State University, a Master’s of Arts degree in Public Administration also from ASU, and my Master's degree of Professional School Counseling from Liberty University.
Through all of my professional endeavors, the most important thoughts that I live by are:
“I am expected to give what I expect my own children to receive which is the very best therefore, I will give my very best”!
Please feel free to call me, or stop in so that we can meet face to face. I can be reached by using the contact information above.
I am so glad to be a part of the Babb Middle School family and welcome my students and families to TEAM ADAMS!
Wishing you all the best towards a fantastic
school year! Thank you for your dedication,
expertise, and love for educating our
students. Welcome to another year of
learning and creating the brightest future
leaders. Please know that the School Social
Worker is always here to support the
students, their families, and YOU. I hope this
academic year is one of the best for you and
your students. Keep shining!
Mr. David Alquicira and Ms. Kelsey Howard-Watson are both graduate students at Georgia State University on track to becoming school counselors! They will join the BABB Counseling Team for this school year to bring academic, behavior, and social/emotional support to all of our students! Welcome Mr. A and Ms. HW!
