Suicide Prevention Week Sept. 22-25th

September is Suicide Awareness Month, our counseling team will host a week long campaign to bring awareness and offer practical tools to help with our overall mental health!

UC Application Workshop

Thinking of applying to a UC school? Come to Room 103 (Mr. Minkoff's room) on September 30th during lunch. Counselors will be there to offer tips and answer questions about the application process.

College Application Workshop

Applying to college (other than a UC)? Come to Room 103 (Mr. Minkoff's room) on October 7th. during lunch. Counselors will be there to share information on what steps to take and answer questions about the application process.

College Night 2026

Save the date for College Planning Night on October 8th! We highly encourage Juniors and Seniors to attend although all grade levels are invited to attend. Hear from your CAHS counselors, meet with college reps, and start to explore the college planning process!

EDGE @ UCSD

Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are now open, and students can apply through this form. The application deadline is October 4, 2026, at 11:59 pm. Here's the link for the form as well: https://forms.gle/2tcxUZBcrDVZ2NhE7.

We will have 2 info sessions for students, parents, teachers, and administrators to attend to answer any questions about the EDGE program and the application.
