Community Events:
Recent High School graduates will have the opportunity to guarantee CSU transfer through the "Transfer Success Pathway" (TSP) program.
Student TSP Eligibility:
Recent high school graduate
NO college enrollment post- high school
First time college freshman (at a California Community College, like MiraCosta)
Students must “opt-in” to a TSP
agreement through the
CSU Transfer Planner tool between
8/1/26 - 10/31/26.
Students are guaranteed admission to that campus & major, so long as they meet the program requirements outlined in their agreement. However, students do not need to commit to the TSP campus or program and may opt out at any time

Entrepreneuership Program
Empowered to Launch is an engaging, hands-on experience where students will learn the fundamentals of starting their own business in a fun and supportive environment.
As always, our summer programming is open to ANY high school student (incoming 9-12 grader, plus 2026 grads).
The Graduate Women in Physics at UCSD is hosting a weekend summer camp July 25-26th 2026 and will feature:
engineering challenges that develop problem solving and teamwork skills
hands-on labs that explain the fundamentals of various fields of physics,
Q&A panels with current bachelor’s and PhD students
talks from a professor on the research topics they explore in their own lab
Snacks and lunch will be provided both days and we’ll have free t-shirts, bags!

To participate in this exciting experience, submit an application with a 300 word statement on why you would like to attend and how you think this experience would benefit you.
