1st Quarter (August-October): Volleyball, Soccer, and Cross Country
2nd Quarter (October-December): Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Boys Basketball Tryouts
3rd Quarter (January-March): Boys Basketball, Archery
4th Quarter (March-May): Track and Field, Archery
Exact dates and times for tryouts, practices, games, etc... will be on the website closer to the start of each season.

Cancellations due to Inclement Weather: Student-athletes & Families will be notified of cancelled games via email and on this site. We'll notify just as soon as we are made aware (district decision).
No Practice Days:
IMPORTANT: Pound has a One Unexcused Absence Practice Policy:
After one unexcused absence (no-show at practice), the next unexcused absence will result in the student-athlete being removed from the team for the remainder of the season.
Excused absences require that a Parent/Guardian email their child's coaches to let them know. Even if a student is absent from school, we ask the that the Parent/Guardian still email their child's coach. Thank you!
For Intramural Practices, please:
use the restroom beforehand
lock up any valuables or devices in your gym locker (see a coach if you don't have one)
find a coach if you need your instrument locked up (in Coach's/PE teacher's office)
be to practice gym ready to go by 3:10
students must wait on the 45th Street Porch for their rides after practice
wear appropriate athletic clothes and shoes that are comfortable
bring your own water bottle
Be prepared to WORK HARD & HAVE FUN
