Collegiate Student-Athlete Recognition Day 2024-2025

Seniors who plan to pursue their athletic careers at the collegiate level are requested to inform the LNS athletic department by completing the designated form. This should be submitted at least one week prior to the recognition event.
During the event, athletes will announce the colleges they will be representing, and there will be a photo opportunity for parents.

Athletic Information for the 2025-2026 Academic Year for Incoming Freshmen
Important Steps to Take Between May 1, 2025, and July 21, 2025
Greetings to all incoming freshmen students and their parents.
We encourage you to thoroughly review the following information if your student is interested in engaging in sports or activities at North Star. Kindly complete the interest form available at this link to express your preferences regarding athletics and activities at LNS. The contact details provided in this form will be shared with coaches and sponsors, enabling them to keep you updated on opportunities for involvement in their respective sports and activities.
Important Steps to Take Between May 1, 2025, and July 21, 2025
Physical Examination and Parent/Student Consent Requirements for Participation in Sports at North Star. The NSAA mandates that a new physical examination be conducted each year, with the date being after May 1 of the current year.
We recommend scheduling your student's physical examination between May 1, 2025, and July 21, 2025, to ensure availability. Please refrain from having your doctor’s office send the physical via fax; you will need to upload it to your ParentVue account after May 1, 2025. Once you upload it the LNS nurse will have access to it also. Detailed instructions for completing the online participation form can be found on the LNS Athletics website. *This process needs to be completed only once per academic year, regardless of whether your student participates in a fall, winter, or spring sport.

*Please email aelliot2@lps.org at North Star Athletic office before coming in to buy tickets at North Star (must be paid for with cash or check) or the district office and pick one up between 8 am and 3 pm.
