Meet the Coaches!
Jessica Bui
Varsity + JV Co-Coach
Hi! I'm Coach Bui 🤠 I am currently a Campus Supervisor at LSE and also am a part time ~barista~ at Scooter's. I was born in Massachusetts & raised in Lincoln, NE and cheered at Lincoln North Star. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Special Edu & Minor in English from UNL. I was a Special Edu teacher at LSE for 3 years before starting my position as a Campus Supervisor. I started coaching Cheer at Southeast as the Reserve coach in 2020, then JV coach in 2021, and am going on year 2 as Head Co-Coach. Outside of cheer I love spending time with my husband and dog, Minnie, reading, and doing crafts. Fun fact about me is that I speak two languages and am working on learning Spanish. I look forward to this upcoming season!
Hi! I'm Coach Lewis 🥰 I currently teach Social Studies here at Lincoln Southeast! I was born and raised in Norfolk, NE where I graduated from Norfolk Senior High School. While in high school I danced competitively and also for the Pink Panther Dance Team. I graduated from UNL in 2022, and have a degree in Secondary Education with minors in History and Educational Psychology. This is my second year as a coach for LSE cheer, and first year as co-head coach! Outside of work, I love to spend time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and being crafty :)
I am so excited for the 2024-2025 season! Go Knights!
Amanda Studebaker
Reserve Coach
Hi! I'm Coach Studebaker 😁 I am currently a biology teacher here at LSE. I was born and raised in Nebraska and did dance team at my high school in Waverly. I graduated from UNL with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and returned to get my Master's in Education. This is will be my 3rd year at LSE and my 2nd year as a coach for teams! I am a very busy person outside of school with my family. We have a farm outside of Lincoln that keeps our family entertained along with the activities and adventures that 2 (soon to be 3) young children bring. When I have a chance to be alone I love to read and go on little walks. I am so excited for another season of supporting our school and teams. Go Knights!
