APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED FOR 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR 

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Student Council at Standing Bear!

We are looking for the students who are willing to learn about leadership and practice leadership skills by being an active representative of our school, sharing their ideas, creating school traditions by leading school-wide events, contributing their time to school and community projects, and by inspiring others. 

We would like to ask you to fill out an application to be a part of the Student Council for the next year. 

Please use the link to fill out the form. The application will be closed on April 18th @ 8pm.

If you are a RETURNING Student Council Member, please fill out this form!

We would like to let you know that next year the Student Council students will meet during advisement, along with Wednesday mornings at 7:05am. You will also be asked to complete tasks during lunch time when necessary (ex.: selling tickets for the events or finishing the posters).

If you think you will be able to make a commitment and the involvement will work for your schedule, please ask three references to complete a reference form for you. Please make sure that two references are your teachers from this school year. Please avoid anyone you’re related to.

After reviewing the applications, the Committee will choose the candidates for an interview. You will be notified about it through your school email. The interviews will be conducted on Zoom or in person (if you are a student at Standing Bear High School).
