The Everett School Counseling Program provides a comprehensive, developmental program that addresses academic, career and personal/social development. School counselors are professional school advocates who provide support to maximize student potential and academic achievement. In partnership with other educators, parents and the community, school counselors work to ensure that all students are prepared with the knowledge and skills to contribute at the highest level as productive members of society.
School counselors design and deliver school counseling programs that improve student outcomes. They lead, advocate and collaborate to promote equity and access for all students by connecting their school counseling program to the school’s academic mission and school improvement plan. They uphold the ethical and professional standards of ASCA and promote the development of the school counseling program based on the following areas of the ASCA National Model: define, deliver, manage and assess.

We continue to be identified as a Community Eligibility Provision school, allowing all students to have free breakfast and lunch.
If you would like to reach out, you can do it by emailing me at hharris2@lps.org or calling the school at (402) 436-1159. Students are able to let me know they would like to visit with me by letting any adult know or filling out a "Help Ticket" where they write their name, grade, and teacher.
