Student Pick up Policy

During Programming Hours

During CLC programming time (3:00-4:30 pm) our students get to participate in games, activities and potential hobbies. We encourage all students to stay the entire period of our extended day program.

Students’ cellphones and electronics will not be allowed during CLC (See Student Expectations page), to prevent miscommunication or long wait times please call the CLC cell number 402-560-4314 and ask for your student.

NOTE TO PARENTS: If there are instructions prior to the CLC dismissal time, 4:30 PM, please call the Dawes main office during school hours or email Raina Volkmer, raina.volkmer@lps.org, to relay the information.

After Programming Hours

Students will be ready for pick up at 4:30pm. Students who walk or bike home must do so immediately. Late bus eligible students will depart from Dawes Middle School at 5:15pm.

All students must be picked up by 5:30pm. Dawes CLC staff does not provide supervision after this time. Please contact Raina Volkmer at 402-560-4314 if you have questions.

We have the right to call LPD if your child is here after 5:30pm.
