Hartley art

Class overview

Throughout the school year we will be busy learning to work with different art mediums, studying artists and movements and learning to come up with ideas and problem solving skills.

Students will be graded on how they respond, create, present and connect to art. More importantly, I will be looking for the amount of effort students put into their work. In art, it is good to make mistakes, as long as we don't give up!

Hartley Care Makes a Community - Interconnection Elementary

Each year the students at Hartley hang onto any markers that are dried up so that they can be mailed into Crayola headquarters and recycled.

What's great about this program is the markers do not have to be Crayola brand. If you have any type of marker at home that is no longer of use, please send it with your child to school and I can send it in for recycling.
