Description: Google Vids is a robust video editing tool that is part of the Google for Education tools. Users can create up to a 30 minute video using built in tools such as stock image, videos, graphics, music, and sound effects as well as video and voice recorders. Making a video is almost as easy as making a slideshow and it exports to your Google Drive as an MP4 movie file.

Compatible Devices: Any computer, Chrome browser

Tips: If you already have a Google Slideshow that you want to make into a video, you can import it into Google Vids so you don't need to start over with your project. Open Vids > file > Slides to video.

Description: WeVideo is a website that allows the user to professionally edit videos similar to iMovie. Video clips, images, voice recordings and titles can be stitched together to create a final product that easily exports to Google Drive and Youtube. The user can also record video footage right in the website using a webcam or capture a screen recording.  You will need to sign up for a Clarkston Schools account to gain full access (ask an iT).
