Bookshare

Bookshare is a free audio book resource for students who have IEPs or 504 Plans. Each student needs an account set up by the school district. Many student’s already have an account. If you forgot your username or password, or if you don’t think that you have an account, email your SMS LRC Support Teacher. Additionally, contact your teacher if there is a particular book that you would like downloaded.

Free Digital Library Books

Many area libraries, (including Clarkston-Independence District Library,) offer free e-books to borrow, through platforms such as Hoopla and The Library Network, all you need is your library card! Links attached.

DigiLibraries has over 2000 free ebooks in their juvenile fiction category as well as over 200 in their juvenile nonfiction category. Most are available for free reading online as well as free download in PDF, MOBI and EPUB.
