Jan 16: Dr. Thapa presented his work on "Global Sensitivity Analysis of Discontinuous Responses using Domain Decomposition" at the AIAA Scitech 2026 Conference in Orlando, Florida. He also served as session co-chair for Non-Deterministic Approaches Session on Jan 14.

Jan 16: Dr. Thapa's work on fatigue analysis of composites structures was awarded the SwRI Student Paper Award at the AIAA Scitech 2026. Nov. 11: Dr. Thapa presented a seminar on "Design under Uncertainty of Variable Angle Tow Composites and Homogenization-Based Modeling for Advanced Structures" at Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Clarkson University.

Nov. 1: Kevin Bou-Abdallah has joined the PREDICT lab as an undergradauate researcher. Kevin will be working on creating a library for lattice structures and performing FEA simulations and experimental testing. Welcome, Kevin!

Aug 2025: Shawn Murphy has joined the PREDICT Laboratory as a M.S. student and will be working on uncertainty quantification of variable angle tow composites. Welcome, Shawn!
