My Personal Background: 

My parents have always stressed to me growing up that picking an occupation where you love what you do pays off in more ways than one. There is nothing that makes me happier than teaching and watching the overall growth amongst students inside and out of the classroom. This is my third year at Hehnly, and it has quickly become a second home to me.

Outside of school you can find me spending time with my family, including cooking dinner, sitting by the fire,watching sunday football and going on fun vacations! I enjoy being active whether that's playing basketball, soccer, or pickleball. I enjoy relaxing on the beach and reading a good book even more! 

Throughout my experiences in education we as teachers learn that all students learn and grow in different ways and at different paces. However, piecing together the puzzle of each students individual needs has always been the most rewarding to me. Because of this I have made it my personal mission as a teacher to create a safe and comfortable classroom environment where students feel free to explore and take risks allowing them to expand their learning skills.
