Each week a child will be chosen to be our student of the week. They will be chosen on a Friday and the following week they will bring in different items. During this time we practice asking and answering questions appropriately, speaking and listening skills, restating questions and summarizing. At the end of the week the Student of the Week will get a poster to take home that we created for them in class.
Student of the Week Schedule:
Monday: The class brainstorms nice qualities about that student
Tuesday: Bring in 3 pictures of you and your family.
Wednesday: Bring in your favorite toy.Â
(Will stay in backpack during the day and only come out during Student of the Week sharing time)Thursday: Bring in your favorite book
Friday: Create poster for Student of the Week
