At Frank Hehnly, our band program offers two ensembles: Beginning Band and Advanced Band. Students build strong musical foundations by developing good habits, refining their skills, and growing as confident, collaborative musicians. Each band rehearses in sections once every six days in preparation for our Winter and Spring Concerts. The instrumentation in our band is the: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn, and percussion. We also perform at our annual Clark Township Band Bonanza every March.

The Instrument Lottery:

We have a number of instruments available at FKH for students to borrow. Families that receive free/reduced lunch have priority in terms of eligibility. 

Afterwards, all families are invited to apply for our instrument lottery! To do so, please email rticas@clarkschools.org to express your interest in putting in for the instrument lottery. Winners will be chosen at random. If you're interested in borrowing a school instrument, please let me know by September 15th, 2025.
