Free Classes for Adults: : Literacy NJ of Union County:121-125 Chestnut Street, Suite 203, Roselle, NJ, 908-486-1777, Fee: free of charge,Literacy NJ provides free instruction in English as a Second Language, Basic Skills and High School Equivalency preparation…adults over the age of 18 residing in Union County are eligible to enroll. Classes are offered at libraries throughout the county; classes are one to two days per week, two hours per class. Qualified students may attend up to 50 hours of instruction. Classes are taught by trained volunteer tutors. Basic literacy skills, and GED prep classes are also available.
