What is AEI?

Academic Enrichment Instruction (AEI) program is designed to provide targeted support for students facing challenges in phonics, reading, and writing. Utilizing the Orton-Gillingham methodology, which is a structured, multi-sensory approach, this program helps learners build foundational skills and achieve literacy success.

In addition to reading and writing support, students receive personalized assistance in math tailored to their individual needs. This comprehensive approach ensures that each student gets the help they need to excel in both literacy and numeracy.

Eligibility for the program is determined based on classroom performance, teacher recommendations, and results from various screening tools, such as DIBELS. This ensures that support is provided to those who will benefit most from it, fostering academic growth and confidence in their abilities.
