I'm Ms. Daisley, and I am excited to begin my fourth year as your Teacher Librarian. I initially taught English as a Second Language and then 7th and 8th grade English for 20 years in Frederick County, VA. I have lived in rural Clarke County most of my life.
I absolutely love reading from all genres, especially the classics, historical fiction, and contemporary Young Adult literature.
I graduated from Clarke County High School as did my father and two sons. My older son is an attorney and lives in Williamsburg with his wife and two children. My younger son works as a software developer and is an Air Force veteran. He and his wife are building a house in Nokesville, VA. I am an avid Orioles and Steelers fan. I spend much of my free time outside on our beef cattle farm. I took the picture on the top of this page from my front porch, which is my favorite place to relax.
