This is my second year with Clarke Community Schools. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the students at Clarke Community Schools.
I graduated from Orient-Macksburg High School in Orient, Iowa. I received an A.A degree from SWCC in Creston, Iowa and then went on to receive a B.A degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa majoring in History and minoring in Coaching. Finally, I received a Masters degree in School Counseling from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO.
I have been a high school and middle school social studies teacher, physical education teacher and for 13 years a 7-12 school counselor. During that time I have also been a head boys basketball coach and an assistant football coach. In my free time I enjoy fishing, kayaking, watching college sports, and spending time with my family.
I will split my time between the Elementary (5-6) and the Middle School (7-8) buildings. I will begin my day at the Elementary and then venture over to the Middle School for the afternoon. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
