MEET the TEACHER!

This is my 14th year teaching preschool.  I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  I received my early childhood special education endorsement from Northwestern College. Every year we take professional development classes to build on our learning. It’s true that you never stop learning and growing!

I absolutely love teaching preschool! It is such a wonderful age. Every child is special and the classroom is a place where every child should feel safe, respected, and loved. As a preschool teacher I feel that it is my job to help them grow as individuals and develop a love of learning.  It is amazing to watch the children grow throughout the year and every year is a new adventure!

My husband, Clint, and I have lived in Osceola for 25 years. We have three children ages 25, 23 and 21. We also have a dog named Finn and 2 cats. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, listening to audiobooks, antiquing and watching classic movies.
