Hello,

I'm Mrs. Myers. I have been teaching Science for thirteen years. I enjoy learning new things and guiding my students while they embark on their learning adventure. It is very exciting to have a classroom devoted to hands on science exploration for the students in 5th Grade at Clarke Elementary.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education - General Science from York College of Pennsylvania. After several years of teaching high school and middle school science, I completed my K-6 Elementary Classroom coursework through Simpson College. I am licensed to teach a wide variety of sciences K-12. I continually enjoy learning and developing my science teaching skill set. I collaborate with a wonderful group of Science teachers at Clarke and look forward to growing our programs.

Some of my most recent learning has taken place through NASA's Endeavor STEM Teaching Certificate Program in partnership with U.S. Satellite Laboratories and Columbia University! I was able to receive another STEM Scale Up Grant for 1st Grade Science to further our primary science learning! I also finished my Master's Degree (M.Ed) in Science Education! I look forward to another great year exploring Science with all of my students this year!
