Clarke Ag Department

A Note From Me....

Brandi Boyd - Agricultural Education Instructor

It is an honor to work with students each day. Education is my passion and I am glad that I get to be a part of your son/daughter's journey. My goal is to help them grow as a person and hopefully make an impact in their life. Please feel free to come visit my classroom to be a part of your son/daughter's learning, follow Osceola Ag Department on Facebook, or contact me if you have any questions.

Here is a little about me and how I got to where I am now. I graduated with a class of seven students from Lineville-Clio High School in 1994. I then went to Iowa State University and majored in Animal Science. After receiving my Bachelors of Science in 1998, I continued my education at Iowa State working towards my Masters Degree. In 2000, I graduated with my Masters in Agricultural Education. I began working at Clarke in the fall of 2000. In 2009, I received National Board Certification in the area of Career and Technical Education.

Family and Faith are very important parts of my life. I am blessed to have a great husband and three wonderful boys. My hobbies include being outside playing and laughing with my boys, craft projects, baking, classic cars, family outings, volleyball, photography, and trying to be poetic.

One of my favorite poems:

I want to teach my students how, to live this life on earth, to face its struggles and its strife, and to improve their worth. Not just the lesson in a book, or how the rivers flow, but to choose the proper path, wherever they may go. For if I help the world to grow, in wisdom and grace, then I feel that I have won, and I have filled my place. And so I ask that I may do my part, for character and confidence, and happiness of heart.
