Class Overview

In this class, your child will continue to build their skills in writing and reading by being introduced to more complex material and strategies. Students will write more detailed pieces and read more challenging books. Moreover, students will complete projects the involve higher-level critical thinking and problem solving skills.

About me

Hello everyone! My name is Willette Sheard and I am a first grade teacher here at Dr. Rose H. Wilder Elementary School. First and foremost, I believe all children can learn. It is my goal to ensure all grow to their fullest potential.

In 16 years, I have previously taught Pre-Kindergarten, First and Second grades. I am thrilled to work in a school that feels like a family, and I love coming to work each day.
