Hello! I am so happy to be Literacy Coach here at Walker Gamble Elementary, where I was a student myself many years ago. Being able to work at a place that is so special in my heart is so fulfilling! I am very proud to be a lifelong Wolverine. I graduated from East Clarendon High School and then obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina as a summa cum laude graduate. Go Gamecocks! Following, I received my Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. This is my 8th year in education. I love learning and am always looking to build my knowledge base. I am currently enrolled in LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) training.

I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Nelson, and we are the proud parents of a precious little boy named Greer. As a family, we love to spend time on the family farm, raise and train Bluetick Coonhounds, and travel to the beach and mountains. I love to read a great book and watch my favorite shows. I am happiest when spending time with my family, though!
