I graduated from USC/Coastal in 1995. Shortly after graduation, I moved to Bowling Green, KY where I worked as a Title 1 assistant. I worked in several grade levels but realized that the little people were perfect for me. After returning to SC, I worked in Sumter for 2 years. I loved Sumter but was really excited when I received an opportunity to come home and work in the district where I graduated. In 1999, I accepted a Job at Manning Primary school teaching 1st Grade. In 2002, 1st grade was moved to Manning Early Childhood Center and this has been my home every since. Eleven years ago, I moved to Preschool and have loved every minute of it. I married my husband in 2001 and we have 2 amazing children. My daughter is 20 and is a Junior at Charleston Southern University. My son is 18 and will be attending Central CArolina in the Fall. I have 3 dogs (Ruby, Rumble, and Finn) and 2 cats (Boots and Bubbles). I am currently in my 28th year of teaching. I love my babies and enjoy being able to watch them grow through the years. I love taking road trips with my family. This summer we took a trip to Michigan and everywhere in between. We were gone for about 2 weeks and made a ton of memories. I am "That" teacher that runs on Sonic Diet Cokes and Gummy candy.
