Class overview
A kindergarten class offers many essential learning experiences. Students are able to explore the world around them to develop educational, social, emotional, problem-solving, and life skills they will use throughout their learning journey. Developing self-esteem is also a key component in the growth of young children.
My name is Linda G. Conyers, and the G is for grateful. I am grateful to be a kindergarten teacher with 33 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. I have been employed in Clarendon School District since 1990. I earned my MAT degree in 2000 and have served as a kindergarten teacher for the past 23 years. I find it amazing that the students I first taught are now bringing their children to kindergarten.
I am also grateful to serve in the community where I live. Living 5 miles away from my school is very convenient and beneficial to me and the students I teach.
My husband and I have been married for 34 years living in a small community with not one stop light! We have a daughter and a son together, along with five beautiful grandchildren. I am so grateful and blessed to have them.
My hobbies are mainly reading the bible and working in my garden to grow beautiful flowers. I also love taking long walks to meditate and keep fit.
