About Me.

I have been an educator for more than 25+ years.  I became interested in  teaching at the age four when my older brother and sister would come home and imitate their teachers by showing me what they learned during the day.

I began my educational journey by working as a librarian aide.  I really liked the school setting and decided to enroll in college.

My college experience began at Morris College, Sumter, South Carolina, with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in History/Social Studies.

After graduating from Morris, I attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut securing my State Of Connecticut Teaching Certificate. I also hold a Master's Degree in Educational Counseling and a 6th Year in Educational Leadership.

This will be my   6th year at Scott's Branch. I am excited about this year especially because I get to work with the same students that were with me in 9th Grade World History, (when I first came to this school). This is an opportunity for me to reconnect with them.

I am also elated that some of these students will be  participating in the dual enrollment program. Others will be graduating from high school this academic school year.

GOOD LUCK CLASS OF 2024!
