Course Overview
Algebra 2 Course Description
Algebra 2 is a comprehensive course designed further to develop students' understanding and application of algebraic concepts. Throughout the semester, students will explore advanced topics in algebra, such as functions, systems of equations, inequalities, polynomials, rational expressions, and exponential functions. Students will deepen their problem-solving skills through real-world applications and mathematical modeling. This course aims to cultivate students' mathematical reasoning and critical thinking abilities as they analyze and interpret various algebraic representations. Students will learn to identify and apply mathematical patterns, make conjectures, and justify their reasoning using algebraic techniques. Through hands-on activities, collaborative work, and individual practice, students will develop fluency in algebraic procedures and build a solid foundation for future mathematical pursuits. Students will develop a deep understanding of functions and their properties, including identifying and analyzing different types of functions, such as linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions.
About me
I enjoy teaching math because I transform lives and make a difference in the community. I have been teaching for 20 years, and during my time in Cameroon, I attended the prestigious University of Bamenda. In the United States, I am rounding up a master's degree in applying technology in teaching at Walden University.
