Digital Art & Design

 Scott's Branch Middle High School

Class Overview

Digital Art & Design is a semester long visual art course where students use digital media techniques to create their art. Instead of paints, pencils and canvas, students use software programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create their art. Students will use photography, image manipulation and digital drawing tablets in this project-based class.

Possible projects include: Movie poster design, logo design, surrealist image, self-portrait, digital painting, typographic design, vector illustration, character design, album cover design, and student choice projects.

About me

Hello! Thanks so much for stopping by my page!

My name is Lucinda Stukes and I am currently the Digital Art/Graphic Design Teacher for Scott's Branch Middle High. I am beyond excited to be a part of this amazing community and a fantastic group of students.

Prior to my time at SBMH, I graduated in 2004 from Allen University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Public Health.

SBMH and our Digital Art Program have provided me with so many amazing opportunities My proudest moment has been the creation of our new District Logo by our students here at Scott's Branch, second to this was being recognized as Teacher of the Year which I owe all to my amazing students, administrators, and my colleagues.

I am so blessed to be apart of this community!
