Welcome to  Clane Union of Parishes, a Church of Ireland Parish in the Diocese of Meath and Kildare. We have two churches and provide chaplaincy to a private church in Coolcarrigan.  Our Parish school is Hewetson National School.

National Heritage Week Event:

St Peter's Church - Sunday 13th August at 2.00pm

Rev. James Reid will present the history of St. Peter's Church, Donadea from the time of St Patrick through to the present day.

Note: Car Parking available at nearby Donadea Forest carpark

 St Michael & All Angels Church -Thursday 17th August at 12.00pm

James Byrne Built Heritage Consultant and Archaeologist from Southgate Associates Heritage Conservation Specialists will briefly discuss the fascinating history and construction of St Michaels and All Angels, Millicent, Clane.

James will also outline the common maintenance issues with a building of this type and age, and the types of repairs required to amend these, as well as the general maintenance that should be carried out on a building such as St. Michaels.

Southgate Associates are currently compiling a Conservation Management Plan for St. Michaels and All Angels as generously funded by the Heritage Council Community Heritage Scheme 2023.

Note: There is limited parking available at the Church

Garden Day - Sunday 20th August at 3pm

Claire & Dermot Moore have very kindly offered their Garden at Prospect House for the Garden Day from 3-5pm.

Please do come and spend an afternoon strolling around their garden for the afternoon or rest and enjoy a cup of tea and cake.
