Synopsis:
Have you ever heard, 'You remind me of your grandfather'? Or, 'When my mother was young she used to do the exact same thing'?
You are the person you are today because of your family. To speak your story, all you have to do is choose a story about a family member or other person of influence in your life that you had heard and has made you the person you are today.
Assessment of Learning Outcomes:
Individual participants and students are all welcome to participate in this global project. We are connecting the world through words, one story at a time! If you are an educator, your students will be able to:
* learn about biography and autobiography and the functions of each
* express their own family's story through written and/or multimedia auto/biographical incident
* discover the connections they have with their own family members, their place within their local community, and the important part they play in our global context
* perfect their online presentation skills by using Flipgrid to publish their own Story
Activity/Global Participation:
This project is currently active in three countries globally, and everyone worldwide is invited to participate!
