Professor De Maci graduated at the top of her class with a B.A. in English Literature and Composition with a Creative Writing Emphasis from the University of California, Riverside. 

While working on her M.A. in English, Prof. De Maci also lived in Italy and studied literature at the Università degli studi in Bologna, Italy.

She then went on to receive her Multiple Subject Cross-Cultural Teaching Credential from Cal State, San Bernardino and also has an English Certification which enables her to teach Adult Ed English and English classes. She has taught Italian Language and Culture at UCR Extension, at Riverside Community College and on Zoom and recently earned a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Azusa Pacific University.
