Stop The Bleed

Juniors and Seniors in the HEAL pathway came together to be certified in Stop the Bleed.  This is a certification in providing emergency lifesaving care to people who are suffering a hemorrhage due to injury.  Students first had to complete the online portion of the training and pass a written test. Then they received the hands on skills training. When they felt confident in the skills of direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquets they were tested on their competence by responding to a scenario given by our instructor Lisa Comnick from GTHS
