Students, here are some troubleshooting tips for your Chromebooks. If this does not solve your problem, please call the Tech Hotline at (909) 946-8226. Leave a message with your name, phone number, school name, and description of the problem.

If your Chromebook has a physical problem, such as a missing key, dead battery, or faulty charger, you may visit your site library before/after school or at your lunch.

Avoid Chromebook damage by remembering to do the following: 

• Keep CB labeled with nametag and barcode

• Keep CB clean and dry

• Be careful with backpack - do not slam on desk or floor. 

• Keep in your possession at all times. 

Chromebooks with USB-C adaptors: CHARGING PORTS

If a charging port breaks, the entire Chromebook has to be replaced!

• Take your time to plug in/unplug carefully

• Do not stretch or pull charging cord

• Keep backpack free of crumbs/dirt that could clog the port
