少年警訊是一個（非牟利）註冊團體，總部設於警察公共關係科，而支部分布於全港二十個警區內。 警察公共關係科轄下的少年警訊及青少年聯絡組負責全港的少年警訊活動，以及制定有關工作和政策。

The Junior Police Call (JPC) is a (non-profit) registered society, with its headquarters established in the Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB), and its branches distributed in 20 police districts in Hong Kong. The JPC and Youth Liaison Section of the PPRB is responsible for organising JPC activities in Hong Kong and formulating work plans and policies.

1. 鼓勵和加強香港警方與青少年之間的溝通和認識。

To encourage and improve communication and mutual understanding between the Police and the youths of Hong Kong.

2. 促進青少年與警方合力撲滅罪行。

To foster Police-youth partnership in the fight against crime.

3. 發展青少年對社會的責任感及灌輸正確的價值觀。

To develop young people's sense of responsibilities towards the society and to instil positive values in them.

4. 提供多元化的活動及訓練，培育領導才能，裝備他們成為未來領袖。

To provide a wide range of activities and training for young people in order to equip them as future leaders and develop their potential leadership.

"To develop our members to work in partnership with the community and other agencies to fight against crime. We are committed to train our members and to equip them with necessary abilities as future leaders in serving our community. We promote positive peer influence in tackling juvenile delinquency."

少年警訊會員分為以下各級別:

JPC members are divided into the following categories：

1. 會員 Member：

6–25歲 Age from 6 to 25

對香港警務工作有興趣 Have interest to know more about the Police Force

2. 領袖 Leader：

10–25歲 Age from 10 to 25

已成為少年警訊會員最少一年 Have joined the JPC Scheme for at least 1 years

完成四個主要訓練及取得合格 Fulfill and pass prerequisite training in the 4 core subjects at Leader Level

3. 深資領袖 Advanced Leader：

10–25歲 Age from 10 to 25

完成四個主要訓練及取得合格 Fulfill and pass prerequisite training in the 4 core subjects at Advanced Leader Level

承諾服務少年警訊總部及區少年警訊 Committed to serving JPC at both district level and HQs level

由警民關係主任推薦 Recommended by the PCRO

4. 導師 Instructor：

需經由所屬警區警民關係主任推薦 Must be recommended by the PCRO of the respective police district

持有傑出獎章的深資領袖，經由秘書處核准 Holder of the Advanced Leader Outstanding Award, endorsed by the Secretariat

身為參事會員/ 支援組幹事 Serving as a Staff Officer / Committee Member of District Support Group

現職或退休警務人員 Serving or retired police officers

除此以外，少年警訊還設有以下會員組別給有志參與少訊，但已超過少訊會員年齡的人士參加:

In addition, JPC also has the following member categories for those who are interested in participating in JPC but are above the eligible age to join:

1. 參事會員 Staff Officer ：

25歲或以上 Age above 25

為前少年警訊會員/ 領袖/ 深資領袖 Previous JPC Member / Leader / Advanced Leader

願意繼續服務少年警訊 Willing to serve JPC continuously

由警民關係主任推薦 Recommended by the PCRO

2. 支援組幹事 Committee Members of District Support Group ：

25歲或以上 Age above 25

具備合適的專業資格或相關的經驗(例如：警務人員、老師、社工) Possess suitable professional qualification or relevant experience (e.g. serving police officers, teachers, social workers etc)

願意服務少年警訊 Willing to serve JPC

由警民關係主任推薦 Recommended by the PCRO

3. 少訊智庫 JPC Fellows :

年滿二十五歲或以上 25 years old or above;

曾/現為少年警訊會員 Former/Current JPC member ；

獲會員事務委員會推廌 Recommendation by the Member Affairs Committee of JPC Fellows ；&

並得少訊中央諮訊委員會同意 Approval by JPC Central Advisory Board 。

自一九七四年以來，少訊計劃發展迅速，會員人數穩定增長，已有超過一百萬名青少年加入成為會員。目前的會員人數接近二十萬，分佈全港各區，是全港最具規模的青少年組織之一。

Since 1974, JPC has been developing rapidly and its membership expanding steadily, with already over 1,000,000 young people have joined JPC as member. It is one of the largest youth organisation in Hong Kong, with the current membership of near 200,000 being distributed territory-wide.
