Announcements

Week of October 7: 

• Thursday, October 15: Spirit Day-Students can wear any CJF or CYO Bulldawg shirt with their gym shorts or sweatpants and sneakers.

• PB & J Drive: Our school and our parish’s PREP program are collecting peanut butter and jelly during October for the Nutritional Development Services of Catholic Charities of Philadelphia.  Please send in containers of one or both of these items if you wish to donate to this food drive by Monday, October 26.

• "Saint's Project": The interesting facts sheet and the rubric need to be brought back to school on October 20th.  The Saint's Museum is on October 23 at 8:45 in the school gym. 

• Next Friday, the children will be assessed on making the Sign of the Cross properly.  

• Since the children take their computers to the library, I am asking you to send in a computer case.  At the end of the year, I will give it back to your child so they will have it for third grade.  Please write your child's name somewhere on the case.

• Just a friendly reminder! If there are worksheets on the "R" side of the Homework folder, they need to stay in there until Mrs. Loomis asks the children to move to the "L" side. (Ex: A homework worksheet.  There will be times when we have to check it a day or so later. If you take it out before they are supposed to go home,  your child gets upset when it is not in their folder.)
