Hi fourth graders! Welcome to our classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. I am SO excited to be your teacher for this year's learning. We are going to be growing together every day. We will challenge each other and support one another to be the best versions of ourselves academically and socially! I will be your biggest supporter and cheer you on to work hard, think critically, and support each other throughout the school year!
The Power of Yet
Every mistake is a step in disguise,
A chance for your brilliant mind to rise.
If a math puzzle or sentence feels tough,
remember your brain is made of strong stuff.
Don't say "I can't do it" and lower your head;
just add the word "yet" to the end of it instead.
Your Unique Spark
The world doesn't need you to match all the rest,
It just needs you to simply try your very best.
Your grades are a snapshot, a moment in time,
But they cannot measure your reason or rhyme.
You are creative, uniquely designed,
With a bright, capable soul and a beautiful mind.
