Welcome to Miss Mahoney's Homepage!

Hello Everyone! 

My name is Miss Mahoney and this is my eighth year as a teacher and first year teaching at Cardinal Foley! I graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education and Master's Degree in Special Education. While earning my Master's degree, I also received  my Wilson Reading Certificate. I spent my first seven years as a Special Education teacher in various types of classrooms. Throughout my teaching experience I have grown into a highly adaptable, compassionate, and versatile educator. I am determined to help all of my students succeed and reach his or her full potential! 

I am so excited to be teaching 6th and 7th grade this year at Cardinal Foley! I developed my passion to become a teacher as a young girl in the very same building I will be teaching in (former St. Denis)! It was my incredible teachers and Catholic education that inspired me to become a teacher.  It is truly such a blessing to be back and I cannot wait to meet all of my amazing students!
