Weekly Update May 25, 2026

I can’t believe it’s our second to last week of school!  On Wednesday (rain date Thursday), the PS and PK will be participating in Water Fun Day. We will have many water activities set up outside including: painting with water, water and sand tables, sprinkler, and a drive-through car wash and bubbles.  Please remember to send your child to school in their bathing suit with shoes that can get wet, and a towel. Please remember to put sunscreen on your child before school and pack a change of clothes if you have a full day student.  If you have a tricycle or big wheels to send in for the car wash, please do!

This week, we will be talking about changes in the world around us, with a focus on personal changes. In our reading of Franklin’s World Takes a Turn, we’ll explore common changes children may experience, such as a new friend joining their class or a new routine at home after the birth of a sibling. In Moving Day, we will explore the changing routines and emotions that come with a new home. or school. Sometimes, change is scary, and sometimes it is fun. Children will explore their feelings about change and we will discuss another change that is coming: moving to Pre-K!

Wednesday June 3rd is our last day of preschool and we will be having an end of the year picnic at Merwood at 9 AM.  We thank you all for your contributions to this event!

I can't believe how quickly this school year has flown by and I am cherishing these last days with your children!
