Weekly Update November 2, 2026

Can you believe it is November already?  We have lots of fun planned this week.

The annual CJF Book Fair will be taking place between November 2nd through November 6th, 2026. Our class will go to preview the Book Fair on Tuesday. The annual Ice Cream Social will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Media Center. Parents are welcome to bring their children and buy books. Ice cream will be served in the cafeteria.  If you are unable to attend Tuesday night and would like to send your child with money on Wednesday or Thursday to buy books in school, you are welcome to do that as well!

This week, our Frog Street theme is “Safe and Healthy Me”.  Your child will be learning important safety rules, such as how to cross streets safely, why we wear helmets while riding tricycles and bicycles, and how to stay safe in the classroom. We’ll also review safety practices, such as the importance of wearing a seat belt in a car, holding an adult’s hand when crossing the street, and never playing with or near fire.  We will also be focused on letters R and U this week. 

On Tuesday, your child will be coming home with a sheet with information about our Preschool Thanksgiving Feast.  We will be making a friendship salad with different fruits everyone brings in and eat them out of an ice cream cone cornucopia. Please send in the item you have checked off on your sheet on 11/19 (the day of our feast).   Please also contact me if you have ANY allergy concerns for your child and this feast.
