Weekly Update March 2, 2026

Happy March! 

This week we will be learning more about vehicles that help us travel and perform important tasks. We will also talk about the different journeys families might take to get to work and school. Through discussions and activities based on our read alouds—Wheels Are All Around, Mama’s Journey, and The Rescue—your child will explore the characteristics of wheels, discuss the functions of cars, buses, and work trucks, and talk about how private and public forms of transportation help us get to work and school. In Math, we’ll be focusing on data, including categorizing the ways kids can get to school.  We will learn about making a graph.  We will also be working on St. Patrick’s Day crafts and discuss the upcoming holiday.

Our rescheduled Open House will be tomorrow from 4:45-6:00 PM.  It is a nice opportunity to visit our classroom and see the PK rooms for next year!
