Prospective  Doctoral and Postdoctoral Researchers

The Wave Propagation Laboratory is actively looking for motivated PhD students and Postdoctoral researchers interested in interdisciplinary research at the interface of geotechnical engineering, wave physics, and advanced computation.

Current research areas include:

• Non-destructive testing of soils and geomaterials

• Viscoelastic wavefield modeling

• Signal processing and inversion for subsurface characterization

• Quantum algorithms for geotechnical engineering

• DAS-based infrastructure monitoring

Applicants with backgrounds in Civil Engineering,  Applied Mechanics, Physics, Signal Processing, Computational Science, or Quantum Computing are encouraged to get in touch.
