How do I sign up for an online program or class
Registering for an online program or class is accomplished by contacting your school district of residency. They will be able to assist you in all aspects of the process.
Is online schooling for me?
Full time online schooling provides flexibility and many opportunities for students. The student becomes primarily responsible for their online schooling activities and should be self-motivated, dedicated, and focused on his/her educational goals. Additional discussions should take place with your school district contact if you are not sure.
Where will I receive my diploma from?
Students enrolled in district based cyber academies receive a district diploma just like students that physically attend the district school.
Do online students need to take State tests?
Students enrolled in cyber academies are required to comply with the same State mandated testing requirements as their peers in the building.
Are there accommodations for special needs?
District cyber academies follow the guidelines for students with special needs. Upon enrollment in the district based cyber academy, you should let the school officials know about special needs or an Individualized Education Plan.
What role do parents play in cyber education?
Parents play a crucial role in a child’s cyber education. The parent should be involved and take an active role in ensuring that their child is meeting the expectations and rigors of an online program while encouraging the student to take responsibility for their education and meeting their personal educational goals.

Can I take online classes and classes within the school?
Each school district offers various opportunities to their students that coincide with the goals of their programs. Contacting your school district will enable you to find out more about these opportunities.
How do I get technology to use?
Technology usage is coordinated through each school district’s cyber academy program.
Can I participate in school activities?
When enrolled in a district based cyber program, students must maintain the same requirements as the brick and mortar students in order to participate in school activities, sports, extracurricular activities, tutoring and other services. Students are encouraged to remain a part of the community and take advantage of school activities.
Does Summer School work the same as online courses during the school year?
The Summer School programs use similar curriculum, however there are differences. Summer School programs run in a shorter format and each Summer Program has different rules, regulations and support due to running in the Summer.
